Description

Class

  • <DRM Data Quality>

Superclass

Subclass

  • None.

Definition

An instance of this DRM class specifies an ISO 19115-compliant description of the level of quality of the information contained in the aggregating DRM object.

The value of the fictional field is TRUE if any aspect of the data content intentionally deviates from the available source data; that is, it was constructed out of thin air. The fictional field is FALSE otherwise.

The field_accuracy field specifies a statement of field accuracy.

The logical_consistency field specifies an optional statement of logical consistency.

The completeness field specifies an optional statement of completeness.

The absolute_horizontal_positional_accuracy field specifies an optional statement about absolute horizontal accuracy. If it is desired to specify absolute horizontal accuracy numerically, a <DRM Property Value> instance with meaning field set to EAC_ABSOLUTE_HORIZONTAL_ACCURACY may be attached as a component of the aggregating DRM object.

The relative_horizontal_positional_accuracy field specifies an optional statement about relative horizontal accuracy. If it is desired to specify relative horizontal accuracy numerically, a <DRM Property Value> instance with meaning field set to EAC_RELATIVE_HORIZONTAL_ACCURACY may be attached as a component of the aggregating DRM object.

The absolute_vertical_positional_accuracy field specifies an optional statement about absolute vertical accuracy. If it is desired to specify absolute vertical accuracy numerically, a <DRM Property Value> instance with meaning field set to EAC_ABSOLUTE_VERTICAL_ACCURACY may be attached as a component of the aggregating DRM object.

The relative_vertical_positional_accuracy field specifies an optional statement about relative vertical accuracy. If it is desired to specify relative vertical accuracy numerically, a <DRM Property Value> instance with meaning field set to EAC_RELATIVE_VERTICAL_ACCURACY may be attached as a component of the aggregating DRM object.

Clarifications

1If provided, the <DRM Lineage> component specifies either information about the events and/or source data used in constructing the environmental data to which a <DRM Data Quality> instance applies or lack of knowledge about lineage.

Example(s)

  • Description of the level of data quality for the <DRM Feature Representation> instances within a particular thematic layer, such as vegetation.
