Description

Class

  • <DRM Emissive Colour>

Superclass

Subclass

  • None.

Definition

An instance of this DRM class specifies the intensity component of a <DRM Primitive Colour> instance, used to represent light emitted by the coloured environmental object.

Since the <DRM Emissive Colour> component is due to light emitted by the environmental object, its contribution to the final colour of the environmental object is independent of any light sources in the environment. Therefore, its contribution is independent of the angle of the lit environmental object to the light source and independent of the angle of the lit environmental object to the observer.
