This International Standard specifies an EDCS organizational schema that organizes a set of EGs.
The EDCS Organizational Schema Dictionary is presented in one table.
This International Standard specifies EDCS groups to collect ECs and EAs based on a common context.
The EDCS Group Dictionary is presented in one table with the EOs ordered alphabetically by EOL, with each EO followed by its member EGs. The EGs for each EO are ordered alphabetically by the EGL.
The EO specified in this International Standard is presented in Table 8.4. The specification of each field of the EDCS Organizational Schema Dictionary entry is presented in Table 8.3.
Field | Specification | Location |
---|---|---|
Label | The EOL (see 4.3.2). | Clause 8 |
Concept definition | The concept definition of this EO (see 4.3.1). | Clause 8 |
Code | The EOC (see 4.3.3). | Clause 8 |
Reference type | The EDCS reference type of this reference (see 4.3.4.2). | Annex E |
Reference | The reference for this EO (see 4.3.4.3). | Annex E |
Supplemental references | The supplemental references for this EO (see 4.3.4.4). | Annex E |
Label | Concept definition | Code | Reference type | Reference | Supplemental references |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
GENERAL | A schema based on natural and/or scientific principles. | 1 |
The EGs specified in this International Standard are presented in Table 8.6 and Table E.1. The specification of each field of an EDCS Group Dictionary entry is presented in Table 8.5. The reference type, reference, and supplemental references fields do not appear in Table 8.6. These three fields and the EOL and EGL fields are presented together in Table E.1.
Field | Specification | Location |
---|---|---|
Organizational schema label | The EOL for the EO of which this EG is a member (see 4.3.2). | Clause 8 |
Group label | The EGL (see 4.3.2). | Clause 8 |
Links | Hyperlinks to lists of the ECLs and EALs of the ECs and EAs that are members of this EG. | Clause 8 |
Concept definition | The concept definition of the EG, except where no EGL is presented in which case it is the concept definition for the EO (see 4.3.1). | Clause 8 |
Code | The EGC (see 4.3.3). | Clause 8 |
Reference type | The EDCS reference type of this reference (see 4.3.4.2). | Annex E |
Reference | The reference for this EO (see 4.3.4.3). | Annex E |
Supplemental references | The supplemental references for this EO (see 4.3.4.4). | Annex E |
Within each table, EGs are first ordered alphabetically by EOL and then for each EO, the EGs are ordered alphabetically by EGL. The EO is then not repeated for each of its EGs and instead the presentation of the EOL field is grey. The group label and links fields in the horizontal row that contains each EOL are presented in grey because these fields do not apply to the EO.
